Kaputas - Kalkan
Antalya is one of the most breath-taking cities of Turkey because of its spectacular location between the Taurus Mountains rising to 3086 meters just behind the coastline and the sparkling Mediterranean. It is accepted as a brilliant jewel surrounded by Termessus, Side, and Aspendos; the ancient cities of history and legends.

Four seasons are only shown on calendars in here, for there is no actual winter experience for the people who live in Antalya. In 1985 snow fell for the first time after 60 years which was an extraordinary event at that time. The summers are hot and dry while the other seasons are warm, with an average temperature of 18 C. It is very exceptional for the temperature to drop below zero. The average humidity rate is 64%.

An Antalya Beach
Antalya is the center of summer tourism in Turkey. Nearly five million tourists come to Antalya every year. Major resorts in coastal Antalya are from Finike to Alanya; where the coastal road is approximately 300 km long.Antalya is also famous for the sports events that take place in it. Nearly 500 football teams come to Antalya to spend their camps every year. Apart from this; international football and golf tournaments take place in the city occasionally where famous sportsmen come together in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Antalya. In September, the Turkish movie stars visit Antalya for the awards ceremony of Traditional Golden Orange Film Festival. The local people together with the tourists promenade in the evenings to meet some of these stars and watch the stunning sun set.
