There are hundreds of various sized rivers and streams in Turkey and most of these are in the suitable conditions for water sports. The Coruh River has a worldwide reputation as the river is one of the fastest flowing rivers on Earth and Coruh River hosted the 4th World Watersport Championship in 1993 with the attendance of 300 contestants, scientists and media stuff from 28 different countries.
