but quite striking with its elegant courtyard and interior decoration;
the Suleymaniye Complex, one of the greatest masterpieces of Sinan
the architect, consists of a mosque, a library, a theological school
and a kitchen for the poor; the Blue Mosque, decorated with blue
Iznik tiles of early 17th century: hence the name…; the Museum of
the Turkish and Islamic Arts houses a rich collection of artifacts..
End the day by exploring beautifully restored traditional wooden
houses. Lunch at local restaurant.
